Anyone who is working with food must recognise good practices as a food handler, and fully understand and comply with the latest legislation to ensure that food is prepared, cooked and handled in a safe and hygienic manner to comply with food hygiene standards.
Food Safety Level 2 course reinforces the importance of food safety and provides learners with an understanding of how to identify and control food safety hazards in their own workplace. All catering businesses have a legal responsibility to train their staffs in food hygiene.
